Bread Distribution to Newcomer Families- BCI

In October, November, and December of 2025, volunteers from the BC Immigrant Hope Association organized and carried out community outreach initiatives to support newcomer families across the region.

As part of these efforts, approximately one thousand packs of fresh pita bread were distributed to families who have recently settled in British Columbia. The initiative aimed to provide both practical assistance and a warm welcome to newcomers adjusting to life in Canada.

This activity reflects the Association’s ongoing commitment to building inclusive communities, supporting food security, and promoting volunteer-driven community engagement.

The BC Immigrant Hope Association extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers and donors who dedicated their time and energy to make this event a success. Their compassion and teamwork continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many newcomer families.
